Ajax celebrated its 125th anniversary on 18 March 2025. The anniversary events in Amsterdam have now ended, so this page has been updated as a look back at that historic milestone.
Why was 18 March 2025 special?
Ajax was founded on 18 March 1900. Exactly 125 years later, the club and its supporters marked the anniversary with events connected to Amsterdam and Ajax history.
Celebrating in Amsterdam
The anniversary period included supporter activities and club celebrations, with both Dam Square and the Johan Cruijff ArenA playing a role in the wider festivities.
