Amsterdam Winter Paradise
The Amsterdam Winter Paradise runs at RAI Amsterdam from 17 December 2026 to 2 January 2027. It combines winter attractions, food, entertainment and après-ski. The event is closed on 31 December.
Ice skating at Museumplein
The Museumplein Ice Rink is open from 24 October 2026 to 16 January 2027. You can skate with the Rijksmuseum as the backdrop and rent skates at the rink.
Amsterdam Light Festival
From 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027, Amsterdam Light Festival returns with a new route through the city. The lights are switched on daily in the late afternoon and evening.
Christmas markets and pop-up events
Smaller Christmas markets and maker markets are announced throughout the autumn. Their dates can change from year to year, so check the organiser’s current agenda before travelling.
